I first visited the Hacienda De Cortes on my first trip to Cuernavaca in 2009 – I immediately fell in love and actually thought I would have my wedding here. From the sugar cane era, this gorgeous spot has since been renovated into a beautiful hotel, restaurant, and spa. The courtyard features lush greenery and gorgeous blooms – perfect for strolling through and taking in the fresh atmosphere. The restaurant is one of my favourite spots, it showcases stunning rustic chandeliers, an open concept, and tree trunks and vines crawling throughout, the food isn’t that great so I would suggest simply stopping in for a drink or a visit to their spa and pools. This is probably my number one stop in all of Cuernavaca.
