Last year I started this little tradition where I take Danny to Whistler for our ‘company Christmas party’ as a way to say thank you for another year of endless love and support. This year we were so excited to partner with Expedia to pick the perfect hotel and plan our much needed little getaway. 

The drive to Whistler is always magical, with views of endless snowcapped trees, and Christmas music on the radio. We checked into the Four Seasons Whistler which was the perfect choice – gorgeous views, our own fireplace, complimentary smores and hot cocoa, spacious rooms, and a gorgeous outdoor pool area. 

We went into the village for dinner our first night and had a nice sleep in the next morning. We last minute decided we were going to go skiing (danny for the first time, and me, the first time in 13 years!) it was interesting to say the least! It surprisingly came right back to me, Danny on the other hand took quite a few tumbles (I guess that’s what happens when he only had me to train him haha!).  We ended the day tired and bruised but we were SO happy we did it – makes having an apres ski that much more rewarding. We then went back to the hotel for a late night hot tub (with wine of course).

The next morning we found a few amazing bakery / lunch spots. The Portobello market was to die for – amazing pastries (made fresh in house) and yummy breakfast bowls. We also stopped into Purebread bakery which is more of a grab and go but still so good!
